Configuration Guide

Device Configuration is mainly used to modify the settings where you can change reporting frequencies and sensor thresholds.

On the Device Detail page, click the circle with three dots located on the upper right corner.

Click Config Device. You can manage your subscription and change your device name here.

Click Settings. You can control reporting frequencies and sensor thresholds.

Settings
Comments
Interval
The time in between device updates. Longer intervals substantially extend battery life.
GPS Module
More accurate location based on GPS with higher battery consumption.
WiFi Module
More accurate location based on WiFi with lower battery consumption than GPS.
Allow ShutDown
Turn it off if you do not want to shut down the device accidentally through the physical power button.
Recorder Mode
Record more data points without address. This can be used to acquire more data while saving battery.
Static Report
The report interval used when device is not moving for a long time.
Active Report Interval
The report interval used when sensor value falls outside of the thresholds.
Max/Min for different sensors
The thresholds for the sensors. When abnormal value is detected, active report is triggered.

When sensor thresholds are exceeded, the email address under "Monitor" will receive an alarm notification regarding the event.
